I’ve been a bit quiet recently as I’ve been busy constructing images the old-fashioned way, by hand. Well, digitally printing and then arranging and mounting on archival board. This image is the first one I’ve done a ‘fine’ print of. It goes now to the framers and then to a new home. First of this series to leave the nest. It is very hard to do a digital version of these, and I really should take the finished ones to someone to have decent copy images made.

Sizes on this web version are approximate, and the ‘real’ one has an off-white base. The photos are a mix of photorag and crane. The images in the centre are mounted slightly out from the board, the rest being adhered flush.

This is also the first image to have been put together solely from within ubuntu/linux…
