Julian, I like the strong sense of imaginary narrative in this one. It’s is a characteristic of many of the other Exotica, but stronger here, for me and for reasons I can’t give.
I think part of the reason is the inclusion of the table with personal objects on. I’ve got a few of these in the series and they certainly strengthen the narrative.
