I guess one of the people who has had the greatest impact on my work is Bee Flowers. The guy has an insight into art and photography that I find unique. No, ‘nice pic’, commentary from him, just straight critique. After all, who else would start an email ‘oh yeah, and another thing I wanted to kick your ass about…’ . I’ve linked to Bee’s work before, but he has just come out with a new series to be exhibited at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art. In fact, I’m quite pissed with Bee at the moment. Here I am, paying by the minute on an internet cafe link and he dumps his new series in my lap . So, spend some time here, I’m not going to do a crit now, just to say I’m really impressed with the way Bee has moved from a straight photographer, through montages, to now producing this combination of imagery using photographic and digitally created images.
